Changelog
Version 2.1 is the current release. The previous public version was 2.0. It was published on 25 September 2026. Picture links that already exist keep working.
Version 2.1
25 September 2026
Pictures
- The upload limit is 64 MB, up from 10 MB. Accepted types are still JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.
- The stored file is still the file you uploaded. There is no watermark and no recompression.
- A failed upload stays on the page and explains why. Closing the panel cancels what is still uploading. A failure is no longer treated as a success.
- Two pictures dropped at the same time with the same name no longer keep the exact same display name. The next one is numbered.
- Grid view is a photo wall again, and its menu opens. List view shows a small preview of each picture.
- Opening a picture stays inside PastiBisa. You can close it, zoom, copy the link, copy embed code, or download it.
- Embed now asks how large the picture should look: fit the page, small, medium, large, a width you type, or the original size. That changes the HTML you paste. It does not make a smaller file. A picture already placed on a site stays as it is until that page uses the new code.
Library and language
- Signed-in pages are in English.
- The front page, sign-in, library, upload, notes, and picture viewer fit a phone. The side menu overlays the page instead of pushing it aside. Long names no longer force the page wider than the screen.
Notes
- The address of a note you own is now a long random id, not a short number such as 43. An old numbered link still opens for the owner, then moves to the new address. Other people do not get that note from the old number.
- Public note links are unchanged.
- The notes list, the editor, and the public reading page were rebuilt. A row opens with one click. Actions stay visible on a phone.
- If a note is saved from two places at once, the later save is refused instead of quietly replacing the other one. Reload, then save again.
- Public editing by someone else works only when the note is public, unlocked, and marked as editable.
Your account
- Usage, under Dashboard, charts only your own pictures and notes: uploads over the last 12 months, file types, weekdays, and a few facts written from those numbers.
Administrators
- People with the administrator role see an Admin entry. Everyone else does not.
- Admin shows a service overview, a people directory, one account at a time, and recent uploads.
- An administrator can create an account, change its name, email, and role, suspend or restore sign-in, and delete an account.
- A suspended account cannot sign in. Picture links that were already public still open.
- Deleting an account removes that account and its notes. Picture links that were already public still open.
- An administrator cannot suspend or delete their own account, and the last administrator cannot be removed.
- Private note text is not shown in Admin. Titles and settings are.
Public pages
- A guide explains sign-in, upload, copying a link, choosing an embed size, the library, and notes.
- Terms and Privacy are public. Questions go to support@pastibisa.app.
- The front page and the sign-in page were redesigned in English, with the current logo, and they fit a narrow screen.
Version 2.0
The previous public release. Picture links from that version still open.
